“I worked preparing food in restaurant for 5 years. I currently earn the minimum wage but its not enough so I have to work double shift to make ends meet. To survive with this wage, its very difficult to pay rent, bills, food and day care. Its almost impossible to survive, especially as a single mother. Governor Cuomo’s increase is a joke to us. Its not fair for us, the workers.”
